The Danger Ranger. It got new shocks, lug nuts, a turn signal flasher, and a cleaned out idle control valve. It's an 87 with the 2.9L btw.

My very first vehicle was an 84 painted NAPA Auto Parts blue. I paid $748.00 for it. That thing was light and fast.

I wouldn't call this one fast by any stretch of the imagination. But at least the interior is red.

Mine was some fleet truck so it had no carpet. Just a bench seat, three gauges and questionable seat belts.

I got to repair rear brakes on a Saturn. The adjusters weren't operating, due to a worn notch-thingy-that-pushes-the-lever, so one side had the adjuster fall out and the other wasn't adjusting. Because it wasn't adjusting, one side was under spring tension on the wheel cylinder, so when I took apart the other, it popped the piston out. Fuck. Got new adjuster parts, put it back together, went to bleed out the air introduced above, and the bleed screw sheared off. FUCK.
Fortunately, new cylinder was $15 at O'Reilly. W00t.
Meanwhile, I prepared new cups for Land Rover wheel cylinders (apparently drum brake day), and got a W123 on a lift in order to replace rusty rear quarters. Oh, and I stripped a bunch of pieces off my 4.2 V8 and rolled the Ranchero into the bay to start poking at rust and such.

I refuse to work on drum brakes

Ranchero: currently destined for Chevy calipers/Toyota rotors front and Jag inboard discs rear. Ease/irritation of working on is one thing, perversity is another.

Red interior Rangers are awesome. Ask me how I know!
